Born in the Bronx, NY, God-is has built her digital career holding lead channel strategy roles at global agency iCrossing, and Austin-based T3.
In 2018 God-is joined social media platform Twitter breaking ground on a new internal organization she helped create within the company as their first-ever Global Director of Culture & Community.
In this role, God-is was responsible for better serving and engaging communities on Twitter all around the world through Twitter’s brand marketing, campaigns with partners, and events and experiences. Internally, she drove strategy to make sure that campaigns and programs are connective, inclusive and reflective of the communities Twitter serves. Externally, God-is built on work that develops relationships and programs with community leaders, content partners, influencers, creators, partners and brands. While building the internal organization she has launched the successful and impactful #TwitterVoices program which recognizes and supports voices from historically marginalized communities on the platform.
In 2020 God-is was recognized for her work at Twitter amplifying historically marginalized voices as #28 on the Root 100 Most Influential African-Americans list, and by Fortune Magazine on their esteemed 40 Under 40 list of influential people in the technology category. She was also listed as #6 on the BET 100 Most Influential People in Media & Entertainment, and in 2021 was profiled for her prolific career journey in both print and digital versions of the Spring 2021 issue of lifestyle publication Marie Claire.
God-is resides in the New York City Tri-state area with her husband and daughter.
