About Dr. Keith Keating
Dr. Keith Keating is a keynote speaker, workforce futurist, and bestselling author who helps organizations learn differently, adapt faster, and unlock the full potential of their people. Twenty-five years in, he's built learning cultures inside some of the world's most demanding organizations — McKinsey, HSBC, Hearst, General Motors, Rocket Mortgage, and BDO Canada, where he currently serves as Chief Learning & Talent Officer.
He didn't finish 10th grade. He got his GED at fifteen, in a psychiatric hospital, after the system had already decided his story. He disagreed — and went on to earn four degrees, including a doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. That lived experience of teaching himself how to learn is the throughline of every keynote he delivers.
Keith is the author of the award-winning The Trusted Learning Advisor (Kogan Page, 2023) and Hidden Value (JetLaunch, 2025), and the forthcoming Breaking the Box. His LinkedIn Learning course Organizational Learning and Development is used by leaders worldwide.
