Speaker Bio

For more than 20 years, Dr. Dana Sinclair has worked with the best of the best to improve their results. From top athletes in the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL to IndyCar drivers, Olympians, surgeons, and prominent business leaders, she helps performers shift their focus to deliver optimal performance — especially when the pressure is on.

A top performance psychologist, Sinclair’s approach is simple — figure out what gets in your way, develop actions to address it in the moment, and then stick to the plan. It’s not about how you feel, she says, it’s about what you do! Her method is explored in detail in her forthcoming book, Dialed In: Do Your Best When It Matters Most. It outlines some of Sinclair’s key concepts including the true nature of confidence, the difference between good routines and unhelpful superstitions, good communication vs. bad advice, character vs. talent, and more.

Sinclair holds doctorates from the University of Cambridge and the University of Ottawa and is a registered psychologist. She is also a clinical assistant professor with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia, and a member of the American Psychological Association.
